Amit Behl is an actor active in films, TV and theatre. She was born on 30th October 1968 in Mumbai and brought up at this place only. He did his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. He then his college from Bharat College, Mumbai and later did his engineering Ramrao Adik Institute and while he was in college he did theatre both in Mumbai and Delhi by joining Shri Ebrahim Alkazi’s Living Theatre Academy of Drama and later started studying acting. He has been in the industry for the last year 23 years, he worked in radio, arts, TV and film.
He then started working for the TV shows for a wide range of TV channels like DD, Sony, Zee TV, DD Metro, NEPC TV, Star One, Colors, Life OK, Hungama, Channel V, Bindass, MTV, Geo Pakistan, Zee Next, ETV, Star Plus, Star One and Life OK to name a few. Apart from acting, he also was seen working as an anchor in more than a hundred short and corporate films, ads, documentaries, TV ads, and voice actor to name a few. He also joined senior joint secretary of Cine & TV artistes association.
He was seen in the acting field in the year 1994 for the TV show called Shanti with Mandira Bedi. He then did a number of films LOC Kargil, and Lakshya. He knows languages like Hindi, English, Urdu and Punjabi. He also is involved in giving motivational lectures to media and management students. He is fond of pets and has a dog and two birds.
