Kanye West just wrote for the first time on Twitter since 2020, after his Instagram account was suspended for breaking the platform’s rules and regulations. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is in talks to acquire the microblogging network Twitter, was one of the first to reply to Kanye’s post, for which he was criticised by several internet users. Now, Kangana Ranaut has defended Elon, saying he is being persecuted by leftists who can’t abide someone who is ‘self-made, feisty, intellectual, and above all sane.’
The actress took to her Instagram Stories, and shared a post by Vanity Fair about a recent article on Elon Musk, the headline of which read ‘Get ready for Elon Musk to turn Twitter into a right-wing cesspool’.
According to Kangana, he is being targeted by ‘woke’ individuals who have launched a ‘massive hate campaign against him.’
Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Elon is woke’s new target. They can’t stand anyone, who can think for him or herself, basically, who is self-made, fiery, intelligent and above all sane… To get woke’s sympathy one has to be dimwit, powerless and incompetent… liberals/ wokes have such role models… they have started massive hate campaign against Elon.”
Kanye West, a musician and fashion designer, has been blocked from using his Twitter and Instagram accounts for sending anti-Semitic statements. Twitter announced on Sunday that it has deleted a tweet by Kanye and temporarily barred him from posting on the platform, as the repercussions from his recent anti-Semitic statements on social media intensified.
The star’s Instagram account was banned after he accused rapper P Diddy of being controlled by Jews. Kanye returned to Twitter after his ban and tweeted more anti-Semitic remarks. Kanye’s posts were banned by both sites, which said he had broken hate speech regulations. Kanye was previously in the spotlight for wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt at the recent Paris Fashion Week.
