She is originally known as Elisabeth Marie Haydon born and brought in Chennai in an Indian (Father) and Australian (mother) blend family. Though she was born in India but brought up in different countries including Australia and United States of America. However, in the year 2007, she returned to India to pursue her career of modelling. Her sister Mallia Haydon is also a professional model in India. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, while is in relationship with his old time business friend DJ Karan. The couple has even announced their engagement last year.

However, while studying in college doing her psychology, her friends advised her to enter into modelling just to meet her basic expenses. This led her a couple of modelling assignments in Australia. Since her sister was a professional model in India, she then headed to her father’s country to take up modelling as her full fledged career. Once she entered the modelling world in India, she got the chance to walk on a number of ramps including at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, and the HDIL-India Couture Week. Besides, she is also the face of Lakme and has got commercials from brands like Hyundai, Myntra.com, Indigo Nation, etc.

Once having a stable modelling career, she along with Sher Singh brand embarked with her debut collected in a global style. In 2012, they embarked with their online spring’s collection. Thus apart from her modelling, she got the chance to work with different brands as a fashion designer. As far as her entry into the acting world is concerned, it was purely accidental. Once day, while sipping coffee at a coffee shop, she was spotted by Anil Kapoor. He soon called her the audition of his upcoming movie called Aisha. It was based on the famous novel called Emma by Jane Austen and adapted by the Hollywood movie Clueless.

Lisa Haydon played the character of an NRI in this movie, which was applauded by the critics. In the year 2014, she then was appeared in the movie called Queen wherein she got the chance to play along with Kangana Ranaut. Her performance in the movie was highly appreciated by the critics and audience, giving her another set of movies including The Shaukeens, which is in the post-production stage. This movie is a remake of a movie with same name of 1982 wherein she has a role of Ahana. Besides, she has even appeared in the movie called Rascals and one Tamil based film called Racha, wherein she had a guest appearance role in one of its song called Raccha.
