Alia-Ranbir wedding: Camera sealed, barricades installed, tight security at RK studios
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is finally happening. The wedding celebrations along with the rituals will take place from today. The venue is decked up beautifully for the star couple’s big day. There was tight security implied at the actor’s residence as barricades were erected to keep the paparazzi at bay before guests arrived.
The management staff was also spotted arriving at the actor’s house on Wednesday morning. However, before they could enter, the ground staff were instructed to hand over their phones, and both their back and front cameras were sealed with pink tape.
According to the reports, the security arrangements for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding have been planned for more than a month. The Raazi actress’ brother Rahul Bhatt reportedly told the news portal, “Yusuf Bhai has taken over the security of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding. He has Mumbai’s best security force – 9/11 agency. He has been hired for the same. Around 200 bouncers have been called from this agency. 10 boys from my team will also be sent.”
Rahul also stated that drones would be kept as a precaution and that Roving Patrol Officers would accompany each guest.
Meanwhile, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor continues to remain tight-lipped about the wedding. Neetu has now shared a wonderful memory of her engagement to her late husband, actor Rishi Kapoor.
Sharing a black and white picture from their engagement, Neetu wrote, “Fond memories of baisakhi day (heart eyes emoji) as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979.”
Rishi is dressed in a suit, with a garland around his neck and a piece of cloth with sweets on his lap. He can be seen putting a ring on Neetu’s finger while her hair covers up her face. Some of their family members can also be seen sitting behind them.
