Aarush Varma from OMG 2 Takes a Stand: Petition Filed to Remove ‘A’ Certification

The recently released film OMG 2, starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Aarush Varma and Yami Gautam, has sparked a debate over the issue of sex education. The film, which deals with the sensitive topic of sex education in schools, has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This means that the film is only suitable for adults.

The decision by the CBFC has been met with mixed reactions. Some people believe that the film should have been given a more universal classification, such as a ‘U/A’ certificate, so that it could be seen by a wider audience. They argue that the film is important because it raises awareness about a serious issue that affects young people.

Others believe that the film is rightfully rated ‘A’ because it deals with explicit content. They argue that the film is not suitable for children and that it could have a negative impact on their development. Akshay Kumar has expressed his disappointment with the CBFC’s decision. He believes that the film is important and that it should be seen by a wider audience. He has also said that he is open to making changes to the film if the CBFC would give it a more universal classification.

The debate over the certification of OMG 2 is likely to continue. It is a complex issue with no easy answers. However, it is a debate that is worth having because it raises important questions about the role of sex education in society. Amid all this we see the young actor Aarush Varma, who played the on-screen son of Pankaj Tripathi, is now filing a petition against the allotted  ‘A’ certificate. In the said petition, he has written that the moot idea of the film is to talk freely on the issue of Sex Education which is still called a taboo issue. However, the film is affected by this issue and thus its very purpose is hampered a lot. Thus it is a need of the hour to get rid of the same.
