Alia Bhatt has a look-alike and it made her win big. Yes! It’s the actress who is playing the lead in Star Plus’s upcoming drama “Udti ka Naam Rajjo.” The fact was brought to light when one of her video clips spread over the internet.
The Assam girl, CElesti Bairagey, who is starting her acting career through this show has around 4 lakh followers on Instagram. Celesti recreated a sequence from Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, which was compared to the Raazi actress because of their strange resemblance.
Talking about this, Celesti states: ” There was no direct conversation between us at first. My social networking accounts are handled by third-party service providers and the casting team connected with them. Later, they communicated with me, and I was surprised to know that I was offered a show. I received a script and then called the creative team to get the details of my character. “
The 23-year-old girl moved out of her native for the first time to film this show. She says, “I sent my recorded video as a self-test to them. After two days, they called me to inform me that I had been chosen for a screen test. I am moving out of Assam for the very first time, considering such a big opportunity. I am glad and excited to be a member of this show. “
“Udti Ka Naam Rajjo” revolves around a young girl named Rajjo, who is a gifted athlete. The girl gets separated from her mother due to the flood. She floats in the water only to find herself in a completely different place. There she meets Arjun, who inspires her to follow her dreams.
The show had an August 8 start date, but will now be telecasted on August 22 on Star Plus.
