Mehwish Hayat, a famous Pakistani actress has slammed Bollywood for its alleged ‘hypocrisy.’ This is not the end as she has also accused the Bollywood music industry of plagiarising Pakistani content.
Her comment on the same came up after the popularity of Alia Bhatt’s new song, ‘Prada’ reached her. The Pak actress has alleged that there are many similarities in the song with the Pakistani song “Gore Rang Ka Zamana” from the ‘Vital Signs’ album. Mehwish even took onto her Twitter account to slam Bollywood and even marked that she finds it quite strange as Bollywood ‘vilifies’ Pakistan at every given opportunity.
However, soon after her disgusting post, many netizens came up to support the B-town and I turn slamming the Pakistani actress. She has been simply denied of virtue by most of the responses marking this to just be a media stunt to follow popularity. This is not the first time that Pakistani actors are slamming Indian stars with their disgusting comments and tweets.
Very recently, Priyanka Chopra also experienced an awkward tweet from one of the Pakistani actress along with her fiancée trying their hands on revoking the peace ambassador title she holds. In fact, an open letter was written in this context on Twitter.
Here are a few reactions to follow:

On the other hand, as tensions grow between India and Pakistan, the Pakistani government has launched a crackdown on the sale of Indian movie CDs. This was soon followed as New Delhi revoked the special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
