Alia Bhatt Aspires to do a remake of War with a female star cast
The film War has impressed both the critics and audience alike getting huge money at the box office. As the film inches to the 100 Crore Club, we now hear the popular film critic Anupama Chopra (wife of Vidhu Vinod Chopra) suggesting to make a female version film of War. She wants Alia Bhatt to play the lead role in it along with roping in the other lady stars only in the film. This will be similar on the lines of the Hollywood movie called Charlie’s Angels.
While sharing this idea on Twitter she said can anyone make the remake of War with gorgeous women in B Town like Alia and give the audience yet another smart and stunning popcorn thriller. She said the film would get a good response. She then suggested some actors like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Sara Ali Khan remain the part and parcel of the leading roles. Alia was quick to respond on this news saying why not, she would be the part of such a film with the female start cast.
Alia has carved her niche hard in B Town with her impressive performance in the Hindi Cinema. She has done a couple of films proving her mettle being an actress. Her performances in films like Raazi, Udta Punjab and Highway have simply impressed the audience. The last time we saw the lady was in Kalank. She is the part of a couple of films like Sadak 2, the South Indian film RRR and Brahmastra with her beau Ranbir Kapoor. The other two films lined up for the lady include Inshaallah and Takht along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s yet another film called Gangubai.
