This is another week under lockdown and it appears that there has been an uproar on another film set. This time, it is being talked about the set of Akshay Kumar’s film Prithviraj.
According to reports, the extraordinary sets, which are now unusable due to the lockdown, will soon be phased out in the next few days due to the onset of the monsoon. These sets with 12th-century architectural design will be destroyed as manufacturers do not think the use of the set will be possible with the monsoon in the coming weeks.
Akshay reportedly shot some important scenes on the Dahisar set, but had to stop work due to the lockdown. Allegedly, they still have portions that are yet to be completed. Not only this, to shoot a war zone, a detailed set has been made in the studio.
Once the lockdown is lifted and the shooting schedule is allowed to resume, the team is expected to continue their shooting at an indoor location.
Apart from the Akshay Kumar starrer film, the set of Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also been demolished to prevent damage during lockdown. Reports also claimed that the remaining parts for Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Thalaivi’ would also be finished in an indoor shoot.
