Akshay Kumar has now packed calendar as we will be seeing him in several movies in 2017 and 2018. There were reports recently which stated that Akshay would be starring in a movie titled Rutba which will be co-produced by him and will star his Brothers’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez. However, Akshay Kumar’s spokesperson denied the reports and said, “There have been a lot of rumours doing the rounds that Akshay Kumar would be doing a film called Rutba. But, it is not true. He is not doing any rom-com.”
 They added, “Akshay is currently only concentrating on Padman, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, 2.0 and the Karan Johar and Salman Khan film.”Akshay’s movie Jolly LLB 2 in which he plays a lawyer did very well at the box-office. He recently finished shooting for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is slated to release on June 2, 2017. The movie will also see Akshay pair opposite Bhumi Pednekar for the first time. He has now commenced shooting for PadMan which is being produced by his wife Twinkle Khanna’s production house Mrs Funnybones and stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
That’s not all. Akshay will be playing the antagonist in 2.0 which stars Rajinikanth. He also has two biopics which will be releasing next year. One is Gold in which he will be seen portraying the hockey player and Olympics medalist Balbir Singh who won the first gold medal post-Independent India. Akshay will also be seen as the music mogul and T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar in the movie titled Mogul.
