If you remember what Rajnikanth had said during the poster release of the film 2.0 about Akshay Kumar then you would realise that he had something really good to play in the movie despite being in the negative role. The superstar said about Akki that he had an interesting character in the film and then he said that the real hero of the film is Akki and not him. He further stated that if he would have given the choice to pick the roles, he would have chosen the Akki’s character. And he further said, Akki’s role was brilliant and that people would applaud him for the role. Yes, the superstar is right, and we have many more reasons to call Akki the real hero for his negative roles, let’s see how?
Made the real show – Akshay Kumar in the character of Pakshi Rajan was simply awesome, and he took all the pain to play the best over the silver screen. The actor who often remains in haste has much to learn with this film as he said when he used to give 3 hours to get the makeup and remove the same. His character was inspired by bird watcher Salim Ali the real birdman of India.
He is peace loving – Though the Telecom players are unhappy for his character but in the core, the actor in Pakshi Rajan vouch for peace loving person. He is against all sort of violence and wants to make the place environment-friendly.
He is Selfless – He likes to invest his time and efforts in the welfare of birds. He becomes a professor to make his knowledge spread their importance and knowledge and importance. He writes a book to spread his ideas among people of same views and ideas.
Nature comes the first – He opposes the cell phones just to save the nature as the mobile phone radiations caused by mobile towers are lethal for birds. He calls people using the cell phone to the criminals as they kill the birds and so the nature.
There are many more things which Pakshi Rajan has in his personality that makes Akki score a point over the other characters. This has certainly boosted the film in a big way.
