Just after the first look of the film, Laxmmi Bomb surfaced in the media, we now hear that the Akshay Kumar starrer film will have a new director now. Both Akki and the makers have replaced the old director Raghava Lawrence who was supposed to direct this film. The actor in the film will be playing a transgender ghost, which happens to be a remake of a hit South movie. Now, just a day after this news, we see the statement of the veteran filmmaker Raghava Lawrence is coming out in the media claiming that he is quitting the movie.
He reasoned that it was due the disrespect from the makers that led him to take such decision. In his statement, he said that he felt very dismayed and disrespected and he then said that he is not even happy with the poster designed for the film. He said he is not happy with this misconduct and that he would soon going to hand over the script to Akshay Kumar. Earlier there were some speculations that suggested that the makers would convince the director to do this film but now the latest on this controversy clearly indicate what has come out from it.
The makers have also shot a few of the sequences but now the director is opted out he will be replaced soon with a new director and then the shooting would be resumed. As per reports, the next shooting schedule is in September. Also, the sudden exit of the director has led to some financial issues for the makers hence they are now planning for a new course of action. It is also said that there seems to be a communication gap between the director and makers that led this rift. The film Laxmmi Bomb is slated to hit the screens in 2020 on 5th June and it is produced under Fox Star Studios.
