The Bollywood film release is undetermined in India, but will continue to entertain fans abroad. Gradually removing the lockdown, UAE is all set to entertain the audience with some big Bollywood hit movies. According to a news portal, the UAE opened theaters on May 27 and plans to re-release several Bollywood films in the coming weeks. Good News, starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, will be released in the UAE on 11 June.
Akshay had said that Dubai has always given a lot of love to his films and the re-release of ‘Good News’ is special.
Directed by Raj Mehta, “Good Newwz” hit the screens on 27 December 2019 in India. The film grossed a total of 196 crores at the box office. ‘Good Newwz’ also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
Meanwhile giving hits hit-to-back last year with films like Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good News, Akshay has made it to the Forbes 2020 list of the highest-grossing celebs in the world.
The actor captured the 52nd spot on this year’s 100 Celebrity List with a gross of $ 48 million, surpassing some Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
Akshay is coming forward to help the needy during this coronovirus epidemic. However, the actor recently came into the limelight for all the wrong reasons when reports began to show that he had booked a chartered flight for the lockdown of his sister and her two children.
On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor Khan has also played a role in Karan Johar’s magnum opus project ‘Takht’, which will also star Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
