Akshay Kumar becomes the highest taxpayer once again, receives a ‘samman patra’ from the Income Tax department
Akshay Kumar is one of the most successful stars of the industry. Unlike other stars he works on multiple projects in one year. Recently the actor once again has been termed the highest taxpayer from the entertainment industry. Not only this but Khiladi Kumar also also received a ‘samman patra’ from the Income Tax department.
Akshay is currently in the United Kingdom filming his upcoming film with Tinu Desai. His team accepted the honour certificate on his behalf. This comes as no surprise to him or his fans, as the superstar has consistently been among India’s highest taxpayers over the last five years.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay was most recently seen in ‘Samrat Prithviraj,’ in which he co-starred with Manushi Chhillar. However, the film received mixed reviews and did not perform well in theatres.
Following that, Akshay Kumar will have several releases in the coming months, beginning with ‘Raksha Bandhan,’ followed by ‘Ram Setu,’ and ‘Selfie.’ ‘Oh My God 2’ is also in the works.
In addition to these, he has several films such as ‘Soorarai Pottru remake, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Gorkha, among others. According to reports, Akshay will be working with producer Dinesh Vijan for the first time. The two are working together on an action-packed thriller set against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force.
