Kangana Ranaut slams a journalist at Ekta Kapoor’s show launch event
Recently, during the show launch event of Alt Balaji‘s Lock Upp which was held in Mumbai, Kangana Ranaut again happened to have an argument with a journalist during this event.
During this event, A journalist happened to ask Kangana about Deepika’s current ‘hemlines and necklines’ controversies during the Gehraiyaan promotions. To this, the Dhakad actress responded “Look, I am here to defend those who can’t defend themselves. Alright? She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the platform and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down,” Kangana curtly said.
After this, the journalist stated that she wasn’t there trying to promote the film, Gehraiyaan, Kangana Ranaut said, “You named the film.” The Tanu Weds Manu actress continued slamming the reporter saying, “You are naming the film which is coming. Obviously, you are being planted by the PRs of the said film.” She added, “Hum itne bhi toh nadan nahi hai. (We aren’t that naïve also.)”
Kangana’s this statement heated the moment a bit, Where the same journalist again went ahead elaborating her statement and also mentioned her disappointment over Kangana’s statement. To this Ekta Kapoor takes a dig and asks the Journalist to calm down and comes forward to give them a hug.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is all set to make her debut in digital as a host with Alt Balaji’s upcoming reality show Lock Upp. The concept of the show is said to be that the contestants will be locked up in jail and Kangana will be roasting these contestants for72 days. The show is expected to premiere by February end this year on Alt Balaji and MX Player.
