Akshay Kumar and Tabu Film Classical Dance Sequence for Bhooth Bangla in Hyderabad

Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan are teaming up again after 15 years for the much-anticipated horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and slated for release in April 2026, the film features an impressive ensemble cast, including TabuParesh RawalRajpal YadavAsraniWamiqa Gabbi, and Mithila Palkar.
Recently, the team wrapped up a significant shooting schedule in Hyderabad and is gearing up for the final phase of filming in February 2025. According to exclusive details from Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar and Tabu filmed a classical dance number during the Hyderabad schedule. Composed by Pritam, the song showcases Tabu in a never-seen-before avatar, performing a mesmerizing classical Indian dance alongside Akshay. A source revealed that this song will feature at a pivotal moment in the story and is expected to be one of the film’s standout sequences.

A Blend of Spooks and Laughs

Bhooth Bangla promises a delightful mix of horror and comedy, with Wamiqa Gabbi playing Akshay’s love interest and Mithila Palkar portraying his sister. The film reunites the legendary comedic team behind classics like Hera PheriBhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. With extensive VFX work and mythological elements woven into the plot, the film is being mounted on a grand scale to deliver a visually thrilling cinematic experience.The project also reunites Akshay, Priyadarshan, and Pritam—renowned for creating the iconic Ami Je Tomar in Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007).

Meanwhile, fans have even more to look forward to as Akshay and Priyadarshan will collaborate again for Hera Pheri 3, set to begin filming in December 2025 and scheduled for release in late 2026. With both movies on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be a blockbuster year for Akshay Kumar!
