There were reports of Akshay Kumar collaborating with his Bell Bottom director Ranjit Tewari. The post-production work has already begun and the shooting of the film will start from August itself. The filming of the movie will be done in London.
A news source also announced that the movie is a remake of Tamil classic Ratsasan.
And now we have updates that the file has got its title. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “It’s titled Mission Cinderella and Akshay plays the role of a cop in the film. The makers are planning to shoot it in London with some locations around in the United Kingdom. It’s an action thriller, with Akshay on the run to track down a child abduction racket, which has been called Cinderella. The producers are tentatively referring to the film as Project Cinderella, and have registered titles like Cinderella and Mission Cinderella with the association”.
On the professional front, this will be Akshay’s third remake after Laxmii, and the soon-to-be-released Bachchan Pandey which is a remake of Jigarthanda. The movie will be produced by Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani. and Rakul Preet will play the female lead in the film.
