Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha recently burned Akshay’s effigy, demand change in title of Prithviraj

Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj is facing road humps ever since it was announced. The film which is backed by Yash Raj Films is getting criticised for several reasons, from its cast to its title. Former Miss World Manushi Chillar is making her Bollywood debut with this film.

Earlier Karni Sena has asked makers to change the title of the film. Now Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha has demanded the same. The Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha recently burned Akshay’s effigy during a demonstration in Chandigarh.

Surjeet Singh Rathore, president of the Karni Sena’s Youth Wing, earlier said, “If they don’t listen to our advice they will have to face the consequences. What happened to Sanjay Leela Bhansali during ‘Padmaavat’, the makers of this film will have to be prepared for it, too.”

According to the members of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha, the makers should title the film Hindu Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan or Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. As per them, since Prithviraj Chauhan was the last Hindu emperor, the film’s title should reflect that.

The makers of Prithviraj are yet to give any statement. The makers are planning to release the film on Diwali 2021. Directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj is produced by Yash Raj Films. Apart from Akshay and Manushai, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari pivotal roles.
