Speculations are growing really high as news has been fluttering around that the popular Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will be incorporated as the antagonist in Ajith’s 60th film.

Ajith’s recently-released Nerkonda Paarvai was a big hit at the theatres on August 8, gaining high on the box office. Marking the first collaboration of Ajith, producer Boney Kapoor and the ace director H Vinoth, Thala 60 will be coming as the first ever social-drama. With the successful trio has joined hands for the second consecutive time.

As the pre-production work of Ajith’s 60th film (also known as Thala 60 or Ajith 60) is already underway, rumours are going ahead that the makers have got into talks with the popular Bollywood actor for playing as the antagonist in this film. Both, Boney Kapoor and Vinoth are holding intense talks with Ajay Devgn for being the part of the film.

It appears that Ajay Devgn has gone ahead as he has accepted to play a crucial role in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. It has also been learnt that Ajay was also considered for director Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s project, Indian 2.

With Ajay Devgn coming on board for this film, Thala 60 will be marking his Tamil debut. Producer Boney Kapoor, during the promotion of Nerkonda Paarvai in Singapore, revealed the fact that the film will be going on floors sometime around September.

During an earlier conducted interview with a popular media house, Boney Kapoor soiled the beans about the film which will be based on Ajith’s love and passion for speed.

He further added, “I got to know him closely during the shoot of our Tamil film Nerkonda Paarvai. I was pleasantly surprised to know about his passion for racing and other sports. It was only natural that our next project together is a thriller that uses his passion for speed. I would love to have him in a Hindi film with an action backdrop.”
