Ajay Devgn Responds to “Zubaan Kesari” Memes: “It Doesn’t Matter”
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn recently addressed the trolling and memes that have emerged from his viral Vimal Elaichi advertisement. Famous for the tagline “Bolo Zubaan Kesari,” Ajay’s ad has frequently inspired jokes and memes on social media. In an open discussion, Devgn shared that he finds the humorous attention amusing and that the online jests don’t bother him.
During an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ajay was asked how he feels when people playfully imitate his iconic tagline. He responded with a relaxed demeanor, acknowledging that the memes and playful ribbing don’t personally affect him. When Allahbadia inquired, “If you don’t mind me asking, in this meme culture, how does your brain process someone saying, ‘Zubaan Kesari?’” Ajay simply replied, “It’s okay. It doesn’t matter.”Rohit Shetty, who joined the conversation, shared his perspective on the meme culture surrounding Ajay’s advertisements, stating, “I think it’s no longer offensive.
Everyone enjoys memes now. It’s all about, ‘Did you see this meme?’”Ajay Devgn’s connection with Vimal Elaichi has placed him at the forefront of meme culture, a position shared by fellow Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and, until recently, Akshay Kumar, who was also a brand ambassador for Vimal Elaichi. However, Akshay decided to part ways with the brand last year after facing backlash for endorsing a product linked to the tobacco industry.
