Ajay Devgn Addresses Singham Again Setback: “Next Time, Singham Will Take Down Even More Villains

The return of one of Indian Cinema’s most beloved characters, Bajirao Singham, was highly anticipated with the release of Rohit Shetty’s and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again during Diwali last year. While the film managed to achieve a decent box office response, it fell short of the extravagant expectations set by its predecessors. Though many had remained silent on the matter, Ajay Devgn recently decided to address the feedback in a candid interview.

 

A clip from this interview has gone viral on social media, particularly on X (formerly known as Twitter). In it, Ajay Devgn openly discusses the criticism he received regarding Singham Again. When the host pointed out that the iconic Bajirao Singham, known for his grand action sequences and formidable presence, seemed to be missing from the latest installment, Ajay readily acknowledged the sentiment. He stated, “I think I received a similar reaction from many. So, we are going to ensure that the next time – the authentic feel of Singham where he does intense action – will definitely be a part of the film.”
