Ajay Bahl’s next film starring Taapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah is a remake of a Spanish horror movie
Taapsee Pannu, who has a number of projects in the works, has signed on to star in Ajay Bahl’s upcoming psychological thriller, Section 375. According to reports, actor Gulshan Devaiah has been cast as one of the male roles. The film will begin shooting in Nainital on July 20.
According to rumours, the Taapsee and Gulshan starrer is the official Hindi version of Guille Morales’ 2010 Spanish horror movie Julia’s Eyes. In this mystery drama, Taapsee will reprise the role of actor Belen Rueda, who played a vision handicapped twin sister.
The character of Gulshan has remained a mystery. Ajay Bahl has authored the Hindi rendition with the Indian audience in mind. According to rumours, the filmmakers have made significant alterations to the script to make it more suitable for an Indian audience.
The film follows a woman who is gradually losing her sight while attempting to solve the death of her twin sisters. In addition to English, Julia’s Eyes is being remade in Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi. After Badla (2019), which was a remake of The Invisible Guest, this will be Taapsee’s second Spanish remake.
Vishal Rana and Anthony Dsouza of Echelon Productions, Pranjal Khandhdiya of Mango Purple Media Network, and Zee Studios are producing the film. The filmmakers want to shoot the film in a month from start to finish.
