When Rohit Shetty was asked why he used Muslim based Negative characters in Sooryavanshi?

The cop drama seems to be a big hit and everyone seems to be going ga-ga for his film. Both critics and audience feel that his wait to release the film in theatres is proving out to be the right decision. Meanwhile with all said and done, the filmmaker Rohit Shetty faced a question as to why he used Muslim-based characters as villains. To this, his reply has been too good. In an interview when he was posed with this question, Rohit Shetty said in his earlier cop drama he had the name Hindus as well.

The Akshay Kumar starrer film seemed to have emerged as a big player on the box office and it is still moving smoothly. The numbers gained at the box office have gone smoothly. Recently, we saw Rohit Shetty sitting with one of the journalists called Abira Dhar wherein he talked about the success of the cop drama. He was posed with the question as to why he is showing Muslims in a bad light to which he said that earlier in his cop drama he had a villain who was a Hindu and Marathi then he did not face the same question.

In Simmba again the villain was a Goan and a Marath then he never faced the same question. Later he added what about any terrorist who hails from Pakistan? Well, he has to be the character of a majority. He said that he is not willing to show people of a specific character in a bad light. The film moves around a bunch of terrorists which is headed by one man called Omar Hafeez played by Jackie Dada somewhere close to the Mumbai blasts of 1993.
