Aishwarya Faces Criticism for Editing Jaya, Navya, and Agastya Out of Amitabh Bachchan-Aaradhya Pic
A day after Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posted a photo of him and her daughter Aaradhya on Instagram. The photo was taken at Bachchan’s birthday celebration, but Rai Bachchan had cropped out Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda.

The cropped photo quickly went viral, and netizens speculated about a rift between Rai Bachchan and the rest of the Bachchan family. One Instagram user commented, “Why did you have to crop the other kids (Navya and Agastya) from the publicly available photo. If you wanted to post just Aaradhya and Big B photo you could have used another one. It’s really tasteless.”
For those who missed it, here is the photo Navya shared on her Instagram story to wish her grandfather Amitabh Bachchan a happy birthday. The photo features the entire Bachchan family: Amitabh, Jaya, Navya, Agastya, and Aaradhya. They are all smiling for the camera.

On Thursday morning, Shweta Bachchan shared the same photo on her Instagram feed with the caption “May you always be surrounded by love.” Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen in a video of Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday celebration on Tuesday night, video calling Abhishek Bachchan to show him the midnight scene outside Jalsa. A fan account shared the video on Instagram and wrote in the caption:
