After Gully Boy Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt to reunite for Baiju Bawra
Ever since the film Baiju Bawra was discussed by the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his circle , it has been making headlines in a big way. Although the filmmaker is yet to announce it officially as yet while the rumors are seen getting too much of media attention at the moment. With all this in the midst, we hear from the sources close to the makers that the Gully Boy pair is going to come again. Yes, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are likely to work in the film in the leading roles.
As per reports, the film is expected to have the two back while it happens to be the remake of a 1952 movie with the same title. The yesteryear film had actors Meena Kumari and Bharat Bhushan in the leading roles. In the said movie, the film is of Mughal Emperor Akbar’s court, when a young musician called Baiju challenges the maestro Tansen to avenge the death of his father, for which he feels Tansen is responsible for.
While we also know that Alia has bagged a film from Sanjay Leela Bhansali called Gangubai Kathiawadi for which she is shooting for and it is expected to hit the screens in September this year. This is her first film with SLB and she always wanted to work with the filmmaker, while Ranveer has worked with him trice with films like Ram Leela, Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani with Deepika Padukone in the leading roles in these. While Ranveer has a couple other films to release this year.Â
