Adipurush Box Office Triumphs Overseas: Prabhas’ Film Surpasses KGF: Chapter 2 in Australia and NZ Markets with Impressive Advance Booking

The excitement surrounding Adipurush is reaching new heights worldwide! Scheduled for release on June 16th, this epic cinematic marvel is generating tremendous buzz and anticipation across the globe. With exceptional advance bookings in the overseas market and an overwhelming demand from audiences in its home country, the film’s team opened advance bookings on Sunday, June 11th, solidifying Adipurush as a film for every Indian.

Early statistics from the Australian and New Zealand markets indicate a phenomenal opening, as the magnum opus has already collected $16,000 in just seven days before its release across eight locations. This surpasses the collection of KGF: Chapter 2, which was $2,900 across six locations. The performances of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Raghav and Janaki have struck a chord with audiences, and the film’s U-certification from the Censor Board makes it accessible to viewers of all ages.

Directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, and Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations, Adipurush is set to captivate audiences worldwide on June 16, 2023.

The film features Prabhas as Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. After facing initial backlash, the film has bounced back with enhanced visual effects and editing. With Adipurush collecting $16,000 across six locations compared to KGF’s $2,900, the film has achieved an incredible feat, collecting nearly six times (5.33 times to be precise) more than the Yash starrer.
