Adaa Khan Reflects on Joining ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ for a Socially Impactful Role: “Life Has Come Full Circle for Me”

Adaa Khan, the talented actress, has joined the ensemble cast of ‘Wagle Ki Duniya,’ a popular slice-of-life family drama TV show. In this series, she will be portraying the character of Sakhi Warge, a role that holds significant social impact.

Sakhi Warge is introduced as Sakhi Wagle’s (played by Chinmayee Salvi) friend from their dance class. A cheerful and optimistic young girl with dreams in her eyes, Sakhi Warge possesses a high level of innocence and accepts things as they are. While her innocence and acceptance may be seen as positive qualities, they also render her vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation.

Adaa Khan’s character is easily influenced and deceived, making her relatable to viewers. Her journey in the show will serve as an empowering catalyst, encouraging women to raise their voices against any form of exploitation they may encounter.

Expressing her thoughts on joining the show, Adaa Khan shared, “I have always admired ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ as it conveys important messages and raises awareness about issues that people face in their everyday lives, including pertinent issues affecting women. When approached to be a part of the show, Adaa Khan instantly accepted the offer, stating that life had come full circle for her as she began her career with the same production. She found a personal connection to the character of Sakhi Warge, a carefree girl who unfortunately falls prey to the wrong people’s trust and becomes a victim of exploitation.

‘Wagle Ki Duniya: Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey’ is currently airing on Sony’s channel called SAB TV, which is known to air the light TV shows like FIR, Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma to name a few.
