Netizens troll Deepika Padukone for her denim outfit, some compare her with Urfi Javed
Deepika Padukone is presently busy promoting her upcoming film Gehraiyaan with costars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhariya Karwe. The film is set to hit the OTT platform over the weekend. Gehraiyaan has been making headlines for all the reasons right from the actor’s dresses to the bold topic of the film.
As the film’s release date is quite close the makers and the cast are promoting the film with utmost enthusiasm. Recently DP was seen in a most fashionable avatar to head another promotional event of the film.
However, when her pictures came out on social media a certain section of the internet didn’t like what she was wearing and started trolling her. Keep reading to know more.
Deepika choose to wear a denim outfit that she paired with white heels. She chose a cut-out strappy top and matched it with baggy denim joggers. The actress kept it simple by wearing no jewellery and wearing very little make-up. However, it appears that her most recent appearance has not gone over well with the internet. Some have referred to her outfit as a “swimsuit,” while others have compared her to BB famed Urfi Javed.

Commenting on a video, featuring Deepika Padukone a user wrote, “Is she waring a swimming costume.” While another wrote, “Looks like urfi javed would’ve worn something like this.” One said, “Ye fashion icon hain India ke … aisa trend Indian girls na hi follow kare to better hoga.” And the nasty comment continued.
Meanwhile, Gehraiyaan is one of the most-anticipated films of the years. It will hit Prime Videos on February 11.
