Abhishek Banerjee is an actor and casting director who hails from Delhi. He was born on 15th November 1988 in Delhi. He was born and brought in the national capital. He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrew Ganj, Delhi. He then completed his graduation from Kirori Mal College passing from Delhi University. During his college days, he participated in plays and decided to make his career in the field of acting. Hence once he completed his studies, he headed to Mumbai to pursue his dream career in acting.
For a few years, he had to struggle and later got the chance to work in a production company working as a casting associate starting with the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai in 2010. He worked with Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, and Ajay Devgn. He then got another film as a casting director for the same director for his hard work on the sets for the film The Dirty Picture. He then worked for films like No One Killed Jessica, Rock On 2, Kya Super Cool Hai Hum, Gabbar Is Back, OK Jaanu and Bangistan to name a few.
He worked as an assistant director for a web series called Toilet Ek Prem Kahani, Brij Mohan, and Secret Superstar. He then worked with the film Ajji With Saadiya Siddiqui, Vikas Kumar, Smita Tambe, and Sudhir Pandey. However, his dream to act had come to reality with the Rajkummar Rao film called Stree in 2018. He also worked in Anushka Sharma film Pari. He was also seen recently in Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Dream Girl.
