Abhishek Bachchan & Anurag Kashyap Plans to come again, Is Manmarziyaan Sequel on the Cards?
As Abhishek Bachchan seems to be doing fairly well as far as the digital format is concerned. His debut in OTT platform with the movie like Breathe: Into The Shadows streamed on the top OTT platform Amazon Prime Video proves a lot. Since then he has got a couple of such ventures on the digital platform. He is also the part of the film Ludo of Anurag Basu along with Big Bull by Kookie Gulati both ready to release on the OTT platforms.
As per reports, the actor is now gearing up for another venture with Anurag Kashyap opposite Taapsee Pannu. He has worked with the filmmaker and the lady who played a wild wife in the film Manmarziyaan. The film was released in 2018 and both the filmmaker and the actor shared a good rapport with each other. Since then they have kept their words to work again and now we have another film Gulab Jamun opposite his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, the recent buzz suggests that the film has been shelved off.
Now, the recent buzz suggests that the filmmaker is planning to come out with a sequel of the 2018 film Manmarziyaan with the same star cast having actors like Junior Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Abhishek though had got some widespread critical acclaim for his performance in the above said web series Breathe 2. Thanks to his interesting role he played in the series. Besides the above said film, Anurag is also in talks with Mani Ratnam for a sequel of Guru and Raavan this year with Junior in the leading role.
