Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu reunion for Sahil Ludhianvi biopic

After the success of the super romantic drama film, Manmarziyaan directed by Anurag Kashyap, pairing Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu for the first time, it’s time for a the second film where Taapsee and Abhishek are once again coming together.

The famous filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known to go out of the way for his creations had long back mentioned about his intention to film the biopic of the one of the eminent poet-writer Sahir Ludhianvi. However, But nothing concrete was being heard on this since long.

Quite lately, this queued up project has kept being in the news for series of reasons including its cast, director and the involved crew of the film. Out of all the rumors and concrete assortments, the latest news coming up on the biopic film is that Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally found the lead pair to be filmed for this romantic tale of love and poetry. The film will however be directed by Jasmeet Reen.

As per the sources, Sanjay has already signed Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu for the lead roles of the biopic film which yet awaits its official title confirmation. As per the quoted remarks on the film, “Both Abhishek and Taapsee have loved the story and are looking forward to collaborate again. However, they are yet to sign on the dotted line. One the formalities are locked, they will begin prep. “

Things are also turning out to be concrete as both these actors were recently spotted around the office of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This pretty clearly supports the buzz going around the biopic now again. Apparently, Taapsee is being considered to play the role of Amrita Pritam who was a novelist.

Abhishek and Taapsee had lastly paired up for the first time for the film Manmarziyaan which also starred Vicky Kaushal. This romantic story came as one of the biggest hits of 2018 and helped Abhishek come back in the path of success.

As per the sources, Sahir Ludhianvi’s biopic is expected to roll down in the cinema halls by October or November this year.
