Satyameva Jayate Sequel is back with John Abraham in the lead role – Check details
John Abraham is back in the news as he will be doing the sequel of the film Satyameva Jayate. The film did well last year when it released on Independence Day and now we hear that the makers are gearing up for the sequel with John Abraham in the lead role. Since John Abraham did well at the box office with this film, the makers are keen on bringing the actor back over the silver screen with the sequel. Now, talking about the sequel, the actress seen in the lead role include Divya Khosla Kumar.
The first part had John and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role, while this time we have Divya in a memorable leading role claims the makers. This time we will have a commercial family entertainer with a patriotic zest in it. Talking about the film, she said was interested to do this only as she saw her role to be an integral part of the narrative and her character will be presented in an interesting fashion.
Milap Zaveri will be directing the film and he has started his preparation. If things would as per the plans, the makers intend to hit the film on the floor after 2nd October this year. This is because the director is busy with Siddharth Malhotra starrer film Marjaavaan, which is releasing on the said date. The film witnessed the highest box office collection last year when it hit in 2018 August. The Dilbar song in it was a big hit and the movie bagged not less than 103.21 Crores at the box office. Thanks to the good reviews and performance, the makers are now back with the sequel.
