Aamir Khan has recently completed 33 years in this industry. The actor was back in town for an event. At the event he raised his concerns about movies opting to go for OTT release. Some time earlier, when theatres were opened with 50% occupancy, he was one of the actors who urged people to watch the movies on the big screen but with safety.
During the event he said, “Some films are releasing on OTT platforms, and as a film person I am very concerned. I hope in near future things will improve.”
Urging people to get vaccinated, he mentioned reopening of theatres is not an easy task. According to him, it can only reopen after the situation improves. Affirming that the actor is working on it. “It is not easy to talk about reopening of cinema halls. Theatres can be opened up only when the health situation improves, and we control the Covid-19 situation as a society, we are all trying and working on it,” added the actor.
Aamir also feels that if people get vaccinated things will get better, “As more and more people get vaccinated things will get better.”
