Aamir Khan expresses his happiness for SRK for accepting Saare Jahaan Se Accha



Aamir Khan, writer Anjum Rajabali, and SRK share a good bond. So, when Aamir Khan was offered the film Saare Jahaan Se Accha based on Rakesh Sharma’s space expedition. Anjum Rajabali has written the story. Aamir Khan during his presence at the grand finale of Cinestaan India’s Storyteller Script Contest 2018 Season second was seen talking to the media along with writers Anjum Rajabali and Juhi Chaturvedi this Monday in Mumbai. The Thugs of Hindostan actor had worked with the two in ‘Ghulam’ while he was supposed to do this film based on the life of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.

However, Aamir Khan opted out from the venture for some of his own reason, which finally led the project to SRK who is playing the lead role in it. Talking about this, Mr. Perfectionist said that the script is great and he found SRK to be a fitting actor to do this role that made him call King Khan. After hearing the story of the film, SRK called it to be a wonderful movie to do. Aamir further said that he is happy to see that SRK liked it and is doing the film and he now wants to wish good luck to King Khan for this venture.

The film – Saare Jahaan Se Achha will hit the floor in February 2019 later Aamir said that he happens to be a big fan of Rakesh Sharma apart from being a good friend as well, and the same is the writer. The writer wanted Aamir to be the part of this film, and the two discussed a lot, but as Aamir is involved in his mega project – called Mahabharat, he is badly occupied with it that led him to opt out from this film.

Also, a similar movie Mission Mangal was announced by Akshay Kumar who is again related to the space having a similar genre. But talking about the same the writer said the film ‘Saare Jahaan Se Accha’, is about a person and his journey to space. Mahesh Mathai is directing the movie, while Anjum Rajabali along with Ronnie Screwvala will be producing the same along with Siddharth Roy Kapur, under his banner called RSVP films along with Roy Kapur Films banners respectively.
