However, Bollywood Hungama brings you an exclusive update: the much-anticipated Aamir Khan-Lokesh Kanagaraj superhero film has now been shelved. Insiders reveal the core reason behind this unexpected development lies in creative differences over the script.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Aamir prefers having the entire screenplay finalized well in advance, while Lokesh follows a more fluid approach—starting with a draft and refining the script throughout the shoot. This fundamental difference in working styles created friction.
”The source added, “Aamir wanted Lokesh to fully commit to the superhero film, which they believed had the potential to redefine Indian cinema. Lokesh, however, wanted to stick to his improvisational method during shooting. Unable to align creatively, they mutually decided to part ways on good terms, with hopes of future collaborations.
