The GiveIndia COVID-19 relief fund has organised a fundraiser concert on 3rd May. It witnessed 85 Indian and global stars join this platform to raise funds for the same. From India, we saw Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao joining the philanthropic extravaganza when they were seen singing classic melodies of hope for their fans and followers. The Khan couple shared a thought provoking message to the audience when they asked to contribute in the said funds.
They were seen singing songs from Kishore Da and Raj Kapoor films like ‘Aa Chal Ke Tujhe’‘Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Se’. Both were good in their signings. Aamir Khan also went on to say that while passing the tough time, it is vital to help the poor and needy who expressed their hope. Kiran was seen saying that the tough times will not last and one should come together in this time. They were quick to share on their Instagram page, have a look at it:Â
Talking about the concert called I For India, it is a home to home fundraising concert, which went live on Facebook this Sunday. There is no sponsor or donors approach where the funds collected for the said COVID Response FUnd will help in supporting the on-ground relief efforts. One can see Aamir and Kiran adding personal touch with their song, which is very much commendable.
