Aamir Khan and Kabir Khan Team Up with Australia’s Mind Blowing Films for ‘Silkyara 41’

In a major cross-continental collaboration, Aamir Khan Productions, Kabir Khan Films, and Australian production house Mind Blowing Films have officially announced Silkyara 41. This feature film is inspired by the miraculous real-life rescue operation at the Silkyara-Barkot tunnel in Uttarakhand, which gripped the world in late 2023.
The project will chronicle the tense, multi-agency mission that led to the safe extraction of 41 trapped construction workers and will place a special spotlight on the pivotal role played by internationally renowned Australian tunneling expert, Professor Arnold Dix.
The announcement was made jointly in Melbourne and Mumbai on July 9, 2026, strategically aligning with ongoing bilateral efforts to strengthen cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Australia.
