Plot

The film happens to be the sequel of 2016 release Happy Bhag Jayegi and the story starts when it has stopped the previous time. This time however, we find the makers have roped in Sonakshi Sinha for the sequel and thus she brings the change in the plot. Happy who was supposed to kidnapped this time rather than running away is not picked up by the Chinese goons as they pick up Sonakshi for the same. Then comes the real drama and comedy as the chase becomes to nab this girl creating lots of confusion and thus messing up things to give you an interesting entertainment for the audience.  So, what goes ahead would be interesting to catch in the film in your nearest cinema.

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi

Review

In one sentence, the sequel seems to be more chaotic than the previous one that happens to be a comedy rooted one with chaos that had worked between the two nations – India and Pakistan. This time, however, the makers have added one more country – China. In fact, the makers have doubled everything by roping in Sonakshi Sinha in it thus adding up double confusion, double trouble and double the laugh riot in the film. The camaraderie and bonhomie we find in both the Happys seemed incredible and remains the key punch of the movie. However, amidst all the happiness and joy, there are loads of drama elements as well.  The script is very well written and nicely implanted thus making things better for the audience giving them fewer loo breaks.

The performances of the lead actors have been incredible especially both the happy’s in the film. They have made sure to portray the best characters over the silver screen. The others like Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergiel too played well over the silver screen. Talking about the music of the film, the music happens to be a bit average and this is the basic reason why the composers should not have delved over the same, especially since he is personally invested in some of the songs in the film. The other elements like editing, screenplay and story seemed okay.

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi – The last word

The Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is a decent watch if you are planning to catch the film this weekend. It has everything double in it, right from the laugh riot, comedy, drama and other elements backed with decent performances as well.
