A recce at LORDS For the Ranveer Singh’s ’83 Crew, Check Details

After his successful films like Padmaavat, Simmba and Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh is back with another film 83, which is all set to hit the floor soon. He has invested a whole lot of his time in getting trained on the and off the field to play Kapil Dev, the winning captain of the World Cup for Cricket of 1983. The film by Kabir Khan is in full swing as far as the preparations are concerned. This is debut venture to play a sportsman on the silver screen.

He calls this film to be an important one as it showcases the story of World Cup victory for Indian Cricket team that created history for the nation. This has given India the proud feeling of getting the world cup for the first time. We still remember the winning moments when Kapil Dev lifted the world cup and made every Indian proud about it. As far as Ranveer is concerned, he is now in Dharamshala with his co-actors preparing for the same.

As per the latest buzz, the unit of the film has completed recce for the third time at the known Lords Stadium in London, which is the place that made India proud after winning the finals. One of the interesting aspects of this ground is that it is hollowed. This made the director Kabir Khan get specially designed boots for the actors who would be playing different roles in the film.

Kabir Khan has approached shoemakers having special machines to specially design these shoes. Talking about the work, Ranveer has been riding high with the success of having good business films like Gully Boy Padmaavat and Simmba.
