As the release date of the film One Day: Justice Delivered is coming close the makers realized that it would be a crowded release for their film. Hence averting the date of release seemed a good idea for them. Now, the makers have pushed the release date of the film by one week. So, as per reports, the film is now releasing on 5th July instead of getting released on 28th June. The other big reason for the new release date was the delay in getting the Censor Certificate.
The film is taking time to get the censorship clearance, which made the makers to postpone the film and they are also getting the chance to have a better release with an easy Friday. The producer Swati Singh along with Ashok Nanda released a joint statement stating that they are getting censor cuts clearance right on time that has hampered the overseas distributor’s release date as well. They wanted to release the film worldwide, but with the delay from the Censor Board, they have delayed things.
The film is produced by Swati along with Ketan Patel and Kamlesh Singh, while the movie is directed by Ashok Nanda. The film has an interesting star cast with Anupam Kher and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. The others include Zarina Wahab, Zakir Hussain, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Murali Sharma and Deepshikha in the lead roles. The film talks about a crime branch special officer who deals with a case of disappearances of high profile individuals. The film is produced under D Neev Films along with Netrix Entertainment along with with Cinema Friday International production.
