Ever since The Kapil Sharma Show made its come back in television it had become a massive hit. The show was off air for a couple of months. The show has now come back with a full swing and it has been entertaining the viewers with high doses of laughter.

Every weekend, Kapil Sharma’s stage is graced by some of the country’s most well-known and loved celebrities. And this time, Smriti Irani, the Honorable Minister of Women and Child Development, was set to appear in a forthcoming episode of the show, but the shoot was apparently cancelled due to a misunderstanding.

Smriti Irani, who is making her debut as an author, was set to appear on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show to promote her book, according to reports. Irani, on the other hand, was unable to shoot for the episode. According to reports, there was a miscommunication between The Kapil Sharma Show’s gatekeeper and Smriti Irani’s driver, which resulted in the filming being cancelled. According to sources, both the actress-turned-politician and Kapil Sharma were completely oblivious of the situation.

Smriti Irani recently posted a video on her Instagram account promoting her future book. Many celebrities congratulated the debut author, including Ekta Kapoor and Mouni Roy. Ekta went further to leave a lengthy comment praising Smriti.

Ekta’s comment read, “She is special in many ways. I’ve seen her as a leader focused driven, strong resilient but I’ve also seen her soft compassionate empathetic to ppl who are not even in her life ( her old co tv colleagues) ! No one knows art world economics n human psychology like her and yet she stands nonchalant when people questioned it cause of her humble n tv background! N now she is breaking new ground by turning into an author ! How do you manage all this ! ? I think cause u believe ! To someone I’m so proud to know here is a book I’m waiting to read.”

To which Smriti replied, “Thank you for believing, for supporting, for being there always like a rock.”
