OMG: Laxmi Agarwal’s lawyer to take legal action against ‘Chhapaak’s makers
As the makers gear up for their film Chhapaak’s release in the B Town tomorrow, we now hear that the lawyer of Laxmi Agarwal on which this movie is based is going to take legal action against the producers of the film. Yes, you heard it right, the film has been in the trouble waters all the time and it continues with the legal action threat from Laxmi’s lawyer against it.
While talking about the issue, the lawyer said that she is deeply disturbed about the fact that she was not given the due credit for the film. This has made her feel hurt and thus would take action against the film. She further wrote in her Facebook post saying that she would protect her identity by the legal action along with securing her integrity as well. Talking about the same further, she said that although she may not match the power of the stars like Deepika, she is committed not to leave her for this.
She concluded saying that she will not sit quiet and would therefore further endorse injustice and that she has decided to take her cause to the next level. She then wrote, now be ready to face the dire consequences. Deepika Padukone is already making news for her visit to the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus to meet the student leader Ms. Ghosh was brutally targetted by the right-wing goons inside the campus.
The film is releasing on 10th Jan 2020 and it will clash with Ajay Devgn’s movie Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior. Chhappak has also Vikrant Massey in the leading role, while it is directed by Meghna Gulzar the talented filmmaker in B Town.
