Shah Rukh Khan Unveils ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ Song Starring Deepika Padukone from ‘KING’ on His Birthday
Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his birthday by presenting fans with the official release of ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, the lead track from his upcoming action thriller KING. Combining prominent Indian and international musical talent, the song features vocals by Arijit Singh alongside a rap segment written and performed by global pop star Ed Sheeran. The music video also reunites Khan with frequent co-star Deepika Padukone.
The track’s accompanying visual presentation opens with a dramatic monologue delivered by Khan: “Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de.” The scene then transitions into an upbeat romantic dance sequence highlighting the lead pair, supported by additional vocals from Madhubanti Bagchi.
Composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar with lyrics penned by Kumaar, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ features choreography by Piyush-Shazia. Alongside its core romantic theme, the music video integrates high-octane action sequences, stylized visual transitions, and dramatic tone shifts that offer an early glimpse into the production’s wider scope. The video concludes with another line spoken by Khan: “Iss baar dil mein aag lagi hai, ab duniya jalaye bina manega nahi.”
Directed by Siddharth Anand, KING is produced by Gauri Khan, Mamta Anand, and Siddharth Anand under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
