Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated action thriller King is nearing the finish line. According to a report by Mid-Day, the film has wrapped up the vast majority of its shoot, with only one final international leg remaining before director Siddharth Anand calls a complete wrap.
Scouting Untapped Global Locations
Discussions and ground preparations are currently underway for the movie’s final overseas schedule, which is slated to take place next month in August 2026.
Location Scouting: A recce team is currently in the United States working out logistics and will subsequently head to select South American countries before finalizing the exact shoot locations.
Fresh Backdrop: Both Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand are reportedly keen on filming a critical sequence in a location that has rarely been explored in mainstream Indian cinema.
A source quoted by Mid-Day revealed: “Only an international schedule is remaining. Nothing has been officially locked yet, but a team is currently in the US, scouting locations and working out the logistics. They will head to certain countries in South America before zeroing in on the locations. If all goes according to the plan, the unit will head there next month before calling it a wrap.”
