Nora Fatehi Says She Is “Alive and Well” After Car Accident Caused by Drunk Driving: “That Could Have Ended Terribly”
Nora Fatehi recently opened up about the terrifying car accident she endured earlier this year, which resulted in a concussion and temporarily paused her professional engagements. Recalling the sudden crash, the actor-dancer described feeling disoriented and shaken as the impact threw her across the vehicle. The accident occurred when a drunk driver collided with the car Nora was traveling in while en route to the Sunburn Festival in Mumbai, where she was scheduled to perform alongside DJ and producer David Guetta. Following the crash, her team rushed her to the hospital, where a CT scan ruled out internal bleeding. She was diagnosed with a concussion and advised to rest.
Addressing her fans, Nora said, “Hey guys, I’m here to tell you that I’m okay. I was in a serious car accident caused by a drunk driver who smashed into my car. The impact was severe and flung me across the car, and I hit my head on the window.”
She added, “I’m alive and well. Apart from some minor injuries, swelling, and a slight concussion, I’m okay. I’m very grateful because this could have ended terribly. This is why you should never drink and drive. I’ve never been a fan of alcohol or drugs — anything that alters your mind. It’s not something I promote or enjoy being around.”Nora continued, “It’s 2025, and I can’t believe we’re still having to talk about this. I never imagined someone would be driving under the influence at 3 p.m. and putting lives at risk. I just want everyone to know I’m okay. I will be in pain for a while, but thank God I’m alive.
”Just a day later, Nora made a powerful return to the stage with David Guetta at Sunburn Festival 2025, transforming what could have been a subdued comeback into one of the event’s most memorable moments. Together, they teased their upcoming global single Fire Starter, featuring Ciara, with a high-energy remix previewed live to enthusiastic fans.This appearance coincided with a significant phase in Nora’s international career. She recently made her U.S. television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing What Do I Know (Just A Girl) with Shenseea, and delivered a dynamic performance at UNTOLD Dubai, marking a steady expansion of her global presence.
