Prabhas–Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit Begins Filming; Muhurat Ceremony Held in Hyderabad with Chiranjeevi as Chief Guest

The much-anticipated film Spirit, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, officially commenced shooting on November 23. The muhurat ceremony marking the start of the shoot was held in Hyderabad and attended by Triptii Dimri, producer Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Shiv Chanana, and megastar Chiranjeevi, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. While Prabhas was present for the puja, he did not appear in the photos shared by the production team.

This film marks the first collaboration between director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas, generating growing excitement since October when Vanga released a special birthday surprise for the actor. On October 24, Vanga unveiled a unique “Sound Story”—an audio-led teaser that sets the tone for Spirit.

The teaser opens against a prison backdrop, featuring a tense exchange between a jailer and his team preparing to handle a former police officer turned prisoner. The highlight is Prabhas’s voice declaring, “Sir, since childhood I have one bad habit,” hinting at the intense and complex nature of his character.

The “Sound Story,” released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, has already sparked significant online engagement.
