Ariana Grande Tests Positive for COVID-19 Amid ……

Ariana Grande, the primary actress and singer of “Wicked: For Good,” was diagnosed with COVID during the continuing promotional campaign. Ariana shared a picture of herself from her time on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on her Instagram account, along with a message stating that she had been diagnosed with COVID-19. “Just before Covid,” she wrote. Days after the singer was seen dodging journalists at her film’s New York premiere, the announcement was made. Cynthia Erivo, her co-star in “Wicked,” likewise reported feeling ill and losing her voice. According to Variety, Ariana has withdrawn from a recorded section of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” due to her COVID diagnosis, and she is anticipated to miss the Q&A sessions in the coming days.
While filming the original Wicked movie, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo both got COVID at various points. Grande was diagnosed shortly before “Popular,” while Erivo tested positive days before filming Defying Gravity.
The actors have been working hard over the past few days to promote Jon M. Chu’s “Wicked: For Good,” the second part of Universal’s version of the classic novel and Broadway production. Erivo is portrayed as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Ariana as Glinda, the Good Witch.
Despite living in seclusion and being presented as the Wicked Witch in the sequel, Elphaba is steadfast in her resolve to reveal The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). On the other hand, Glinda, who presently resides at the palace in Emerald City, has become the brilliant symbol of Goodness across Oz.
On November 21, Wicked: For Good is scheduled to open in theaters.
