Did Pakistan Label Salman Khan a Terrorist After Riyadh Remarks? Here’s What We Know!

Actor Salman Khan has found himself amid a major international controversy following reports that the Balochistan government designated him a terrorist. This development comes after his remarks at the Riyadh Forum, where he seemingly referred to Pakistan and Balochistan as separate entities—a statement that quickly went viral and ignited heated debates online.

Social media posts on platform X claim that Salman Khan’s name has been added to Pakistan’s ‘Fourth Schedule’ under the Anti-Terrorism Act (1997). This schedule is used to keep tabs on individuals suspected of links to extremist or banned organizations. Being listed would subject Salman to strict legal scrutiny, travel restrictions, and constant government monitoring.

A notification dated October 16, 2025, shared by user Nasir Azeem, circulates as evidence, labeling Salman as an “Azad Balochistan Facilitator.” However, no credible Pakistani media or official government sources have confirmed the authenticity of this document, casting doubt on the claims. The controversy began after a clip from the Riyadh Forum showed Salman discussing the popularity of Indian films in the Middle East. He said:
“Right now, if you make a Hindi film and release it in Saudi Arabia, it will be a superhit. If you make a Tamil, Telugu, or Malayali film, it will do hundreds of crores in business because so many people from other countries have come here.

There are people from Balochistan, there are people from Afghanistan, there are people from Pakistan, everyone is working here.”The phrasing appeared to mention Balochistan separately from Pakistan, sparking the backlash. Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were also present on stage during the remarks. As of now, Salman Khan has not issued any public response to the controversy, and the Balochistan government has not officially confirmed adding his name to the Fourth Schedule. The situation remains fluid, with many awaiting authoritative clarification on the matter.
