Manoj Bajpayee drops out of Hrithik Roshan starrer Indian remake of The Night Manager

In a recent report, it is being known that Manoj Bajpayee walked out of Hrithik Roshan’s Indian remake of The Night Manager. The Night Manager is the remake of a British limited series wherein Bajpayee was supposed to play the villain. The Gans Of Wasseypur actor had to don the role of Richard Roper, played by Hugh Laurie in the original series.

A daily reported that Manoj Bajpayee was earlier in talking terms with the makers but then when the second wave of the deadly Covid-19 happened, he realized that he won’t be able to make it with the shooting dates. The actor already has two more projects for the future to finish. Hence he decided to drop out of the project as he won’t be able to match the dates with the remaining star cast.

Currently, Bajpayee is finishing his shoot in Uttarakhand for his future project.

The show will see Hrithik Roshan playing the character of Jonathan Pine in the show. Now that Manoj has opted out, the makers are in search of a new replacement for his character.

The Night Manager directed by Susanne Bier and was premiered on February 21, 2016, on BBC One. The show starred Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, David Harewood, Tom Hollander, and Elizabeth Debicki in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Manoj Bajpayee is currently on cloud nine as his much-awaited web series, The Family Man Season 2 is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on June 4. It is created, produced and directed by Raj and DK.
