83 and Sooryavanshi Releases Might Get Delayed due to Coronavirus Threat
With the Coronavirus Outbreak, everything seems to have come on hold and so is the B Town. Just when we heard that the grand trailer release of the film 83 is getting affected by the said virus spread news, the makers of the film seem to be in two minds about releasing the same on the decided date. Not only the makers of 83, but we also see Rohit Shetty the director and producer of the Akshay Kumar starrer film Sooryavanshi too taking a second thought on the release date.
As per the Group CEO of Reliance Entertainment Mr. Shibashish Sarkar who was seen talking to the media, both the films Sooryavanshi and 83 are expected to hit the screens on the same dates. However, he added if the conditions deteriorate, the makers would push the release date to other dates. The makers are yet to decide upon pushing the date at the moment for both the films but they are open to do so provided they find things not being rosy for the release.
He added that they are yet to decide upon the new release date, while they are discussing on the same and still on the same plane for releasing the film on the given dates only. While talking about the change in the release date, Sarkar said that the producer seems to be in a denial mode but they are ready to take the decision in case if the situation demands. The film 83 is based on the victory of the Indian Cricket team in World Cup 1983, while the other film is a cop drama with Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
